Course Confirmation
Skills Management Australia will confirm commencement of the course booking approximately 2-3 weeks prior to the scheduled dates (if not earlier). It is recommended participants wait for confirmation before making any formal leave and travel arrangements.
Skills Management Australia Course Cancellation Policy
In the rare event a confirmed course is unable to proceed due to unforeseen circumstances with less than 72 hours’ notice, the course will be rescheduled, and a credit note issued to the booker. (Course refunds may be provided on a pre-approved case-by-case basis). While Skills Management Australia uses reasonable commercial endeavours to ensure that confirmed courses are conducted on the scheduled dates, Skills Management Australia reserves the right to change course dates and times at any time and from time to time in its absolute discretion.
Booker/Participant Course Cancellation Policy
Please carefully review our cancellation policy as outlined below:
No Show with No Notice
If a course participant fails to attend a confirmed booking, either in person or virtual, without prior notice of their intention to reschedule, the booking will be forfeited with no refund, credit note, or reschedule option provided.
First Cancellation with Prior Notice
Once payment is made, if participants are unable to attend a course with less than 15 working days’ notice a credit note will be issued to the booker. Course refunds will not be provided in this case. Substitute participants can be nominated for enrolment by the booker and approved by Skills Management Australia. A full refund can be requested within 15 or more working days prior to the delivery date.
Second Cancellation with Prior Notice
If participants are unable to attend a course with less than 15 working days’ notice on the second occasion, the booker agrees to forfeit the entire amount paid. Course refunds will not be provided in this case. Substitute participants can be nominated for enrolment by the booker and approved by Skills Management Australia.
12-Month Booking Expiry for Non-Attendance
If participants are unable to attend a course within 12 months of the payment date, the booker agrees to forfeit the entire booking and all funds paid. Any outstanding course credits will be cancelled.
Course Cancellation Liability
Skills Management Australia is not liable for any course participant travel expenses, including transport and accommodation, or any additional out of pocket expenses incurred.
